Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Trauma PCU RN to deliver high-quality nursing care on a 36-bed trauma unit. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide specialized care for high-acuity adult trauma patients, supported by telemetry monitoring and advanced technology.

This role offers 3x12-hour shifts with a night differential and weekend differential, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible RNs and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Experience in acute care or trauma nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care per policy and physician orders.
• Implement the plan of care and coordinate with the health care team.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions and patient responses.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
