Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit on the 6th Floor at Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. This night shift role involves caring for a diverse patient population, with telemetry experience preferred and training available for nurses from related acute care backgrounds.

As a PCU RN, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and document thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in PCU/Telemetry preferred; willing to train a nurse new to the service.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, emotional and development stages.
• Plan and coordinate a comprehensive care plan with patient/family and health team.
• Implement the plan of care and supervise care delivery per physician orders.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plan as needed with the team.
