Job summary

Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit. The role involves coordinating care planning, supervising other healthcare staff, and delivering bedside care following the nursing process.

The position supports hourly rounding and adherence to safety guidelines. The candidate should have an Arizona RN license, CPR, and unit-specific ACLS/PALS/NRP where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school; L&D requires Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
• License/Certifications: RN license in Arizona; CPR. ACLS as applicable by facility/department; PALS/ENPC as required; NRP for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs.
• Determine nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data analysis.
• Set patient outcome goals with input from patient and family; guide patient toward goals.
• Individualize the plan of care based on patient needs and circumstances.
• Implement nursing and medical orders and ensure they are appropriate for current status.
