Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver 1:1 therapy in real-life settings, from grocery stores to gyms, with a flexible hourly schedule and mileage reimbursement. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, collaboration, and growth, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays required.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in OT, current OT license, CPR certification, and at least one year of OT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification is current.
• At least one year of OT work experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological diagnoses.
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and families.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving/transferring patients up to 100 pounds.
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and standing/walking.
• Health screening may be required prior to assignment and periodically.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness; attend staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home safety recommendations.
• Communicate needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, clients and families.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and outcomes.
