Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Texas seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to bring therapy into real life, helping clients regain independence at home, work, and in the community. The role offers autonomy with team collaboration and focuses on individuals with complex neurological injuries, including TBI/CVA experience preferred.

We offer a flexible schedule created by you, hourly pay, no weekends/evenings/holidays, plus paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in practicing state
• Current CPR Certification
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist up to 100 pounds with safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, clients, and families
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes
