Bryan College Of Health Sciences is seeking a Neuro Surgical Technologist to support a multidisciplinary operating room team. The role involves scrubbing, instrument handling, and assisting with cranial and spinal procedures to ensure safe patient care across ages.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited surgical technology program, with certification preferred, and experience in fast-paced OR environments. CPR/BLS and ongoing education are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification desired.
• Prior Surgical Tech experience desired.

Responsabilités

• Functions in the scrub role by preparing, organizing, and anticipating needed instruments, supplies, and equipment for safe patient care and operative procedure.
• Assists the nurse in perioperative care of the patient, including transporting, positioning, counting, prepping and safety precautions.
• Assists the surgeon in cranial and spinal procedures and various operative challenges.
• Maintains aseptic technique and infection control principles in the OR.
• Coordinates care with other departments and participates in continuous quality improvement measures.
