Job summary

Bryan Health in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a multidisciplinary team in the operating room. You will scrub for procedures, prepare, organize and anticipate needed instruments, supplies and equipment, ensuring patient safety and efficient flow of the case.

You will assist perioperative staff under supervision, maintain aseptic technique, manage specimens, counts, and medications, and participate in quality improvement to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or certification required.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist is desirable.
• CPR certification required per recognized accrediting bodies.

Responsibilities

• Scrub role: prepare, organize, and anticipate needed instruments and supplies.
• Assist perioperative nurse with patient care and positioning.
• Pass instruments safely in OR and LDR.
• Count and prep surgical instruments and supplies.
• Deliver medications within sterile field under supervision.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control.
