Job summary

St. Anthony Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Neuro Specialty Team in a high-acuity environment focused on neurosurgical cases.

You will scrub into brain and spine procedures, manage sterile instrument sets, and support the surgical team from prep to post-case turnover. The role requires neurosurgical instrumentation knowledge, current CST certification, and 2 years of surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Current surgical technology certification is required.
• Specialized knowledge of neurosurgical instrumentation and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a high-acuity environment.
• Two years of experience in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications for neurosurgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure instrument integrity during operations.
• Assist in preparing and moving patients; sterilize and clean instruments, equipment and rooms between cases.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and nurses as needed; anticipate the surgeon's needs.
