Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supports manager to enhance nursing practice and care delivery.
• Assists with interviewing, selecting, and supervising nursing personnel.
• Coordinates staff communication through meetings and huddles.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess care and operations.
• Delegates care to appropriate healthcare workers per policy.
• Identifies expected outcomes and guides continuity of care/operations.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and disseminates updates to the team.
• Performs nursing care, treatments, therapies, procedures, and meds as needed.
• Manages patient flow and staffing based on volume/acuity
