Advocate Health's Neurosurgical Medical-Surgical Unit (9T) is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead education and onboarding for new hires and address ongoing staff education needs. The role supports staff, manages patient flow, and ensures regulatory compliance on a fast-paced, high-acuity unit.

The 9T team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care, with a focus on spine and neurologic patients, and joint Commission-certified practices. Monday–Friday with some flexibility to meet unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• BSN preferred; RN candidates without BSN must enroll within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• BLS certification required; other professional certifications may be required.
• Experience in management/leadership roles is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support the manager to enhance nursing practice and care delivery.
• Assist with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing staff.
• Coordinate communications via regular staff meetings and huddles.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and policies.
• Monitor patient flow, staffing, and department operations.
• Perform nursing care, treatments, and medication administration.
