Advocate Health's Carolinas Medical Center 9T unit is seeking a Clinical Supervisor focused on education and onboarding for new hires and ongoing unit education for all staff. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility to meet unit needs and supports a high-acuity neurosurgical/medical‑surgical environment in a 36‑bed unit.

Ideal candidates will have BSN, current RN licensure in the relevant state, and at least two years of nursing experience, with prior management experience

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice and care delivery.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department.
• Coordinates communication at regular intervals to exchange information and promote dialogue among staff.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws, healthcare regulations, and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess care quality and department operations.
• Delegates care elements to appropriate staff per policy.
• Identifies expected outcomes to guide continuity of care and operations.
• Performs nursing care, administers medications, and assists with treatments as needed.
• Manages patient flow and staffing through ongoing assessment of needs.
