Hugh Chatham Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 9T neurosurgical medical-surgical unit at Carolinas Medical Center. The unit features spine and neuro care with high acuity and low nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure quality care.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification. Full-time, 36 hours per week, with 3 12-hour night shifts and a holiday/weekend rotation.

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work

9T is a 36-bed neurosurgical medical-surgical unit. We specialize in neurosurgical spine and step down from NSICU, Neuro Progressive and stroke departments. Of these beds, 6 are off-service beds that serve patients with neurological diagnoses. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity unit, especially for our fresh post-operative spine patients, which allows for lower nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure optimal care. We are proud to be Joint Commission Certified in Spine Surgery - the first unit in the country to receive this designation. We've successfully completed two redesignations.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
