Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates enrolling in BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and complete within 3 years.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Certification in clinical or leadership role within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Supports manager via systematic approaches to improve nursing practice and care delivery.
• Assists with interviewing, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinates communication through staff meetings and huddles.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws, healthcare services and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess satisfaction and operations.
• Delegates care elements to appropriate staff.
• Helps set goals and track progress towards outcomes and continuity of care.
• Administers nursing care and medications as needed; supports patient flow and staffing.
