Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• MSN or pursuing within 4 years of starting role.
• Registered Nursing license issued by the State of Illinois.
• Certification in related clinical area or plan to obtain when eligible.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a clinical area.
• BLS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Leads education opportunities for staff identified through needs assessments and goals.
• Supports staff to seek/maintain specialty certification and monitors progress.
• Reviews unit/division dashboards for quality and practice improvements with stakeholders.
• Monitors quality data and develops action plans for safety, quality, and practice.
• Leads inter-professional teams for unit/division clinical process improvements.
