Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Computer Technician to support the district's technology services. The role requires an Associate or BS in computer science with hands-on Windows/Intel PC experience in a networked environment.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing IT hardware/software, creating PC images, and training users. A valid SC driver's license is expected; position is within Technology Services and involves lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Associate or BS degree in computer science with two years' experience.
High school diploma with three years' experience supporting Windows/Intel PCs in a networked environment.
In-depth knowledge of MS Windows, OS, MS Office, and OpenOffice with troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

Provide support for all district computer applications.
Respond to phone, email, and personnel requests for technical support and resolve issues.
Install and repair hardware, software, and peripheral equipment; perform basic hardware maintenance.
Create PC images and deploy them across the district.
Assist with networked hardware/software installation and maintenance.
Train users in proper use of hardware and software as needed.
Maintain accurate service records.
