Job summary

Vitas Healthcare Corporation is seeking an IT Support professional to manage incidents, changes, and requests, while onboarding new staff to IT processes. You will communicate across the user community, IT teams, and leadership and travel to related locations to provide in-person support.

The role requires 2–4 years in an enterprise IT environment, ITIL knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will maintain backups, desktops, and conferencing systems per VITAS standards.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• ITIL knowledge with incident & problem management experience.
• Able to express complex technical concepts clearly in writing and speech.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision or collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work with people from different disciplines and varying technical levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure incidents, requests, changes are fully managed and documented promptly.
• Orient new hires with relevant IT processes.
• Communicate effectively to user community, IT team, and leadership.
• Interface with local business leaders and IT leadership for alignment.
• Travel to related locations to provide in-person support.
• Maintain daily backups of local File Server.
• Maintain audio/video conferencing systems and technology.
• Develop and maintain site management and disaster contingency plans; keep up to date.
• Maintain desktop/laptops hardware and software per VITAS standards.
• Coordinate downtime and service-impacting activities.
• Manage equipment orders processes.
• Assist in coordinating office moves and additions.
• Participate in disaster recovery and security audits on file servers and desktops.
• Maintain inventory reporting of IT assets in ITSM tool.
• Provide backup support to other regions via phone or on-site.
