Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Amarillo, TX seeks a Network Specialist I responsible for intermediate network and systems support. The role covers LAN/WAN monitoring, software imaging, and user training to ensure reliable IT services for agency staff.

The position requires after-hours availability and up to 30% travel, with a telework disclaimer indicating possible telework per policy. A High School diploma or GED is required, ITIL certification preferred.

Formación

• Experience supporting desktop operating systems, preferably Microsoft Windows.
• Experience providing hands-on technical support with customers on computer hardware and software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
• Able to work after hours and travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides intermediate computer systems and network support for agency information technology systems.
• Performs moves, adds, and changes and monitors LAN/WAN performance.
• Maintains network physical and logical structures and implements security updates.
• Images computers and installs software; trains users on hardware and software.
