Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a Network Specialist 3 in the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to design, engineer, operate and maintain secure network services for federal, local and commercial customers.

This role requires an Active DoD SECRET clearance, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS or IT, and 5+ years of progressive network experience; 24/7 on-call may be required. Strong knowledge of ITIL concepts and network platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Arista), plus testing and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology with 5+ years of progressive experience.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurement results to senior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services and devices.
• Develop network designs for SLA classifications and support large programs.
• Troubleshoot complex network problems and perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare test plans and lead testing/commissioning activities.
