Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer 3 in the Security and Electronic Systems unit for the Charleston area to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients.

You will collaborate with field engineers, develop network designs, perform testing, and support 24/7 operations. An active DoD SECRET clearance is REQUIRED. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or IT with 5+ years of experience, plus ITIL and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline and 5+ years of progressive network engineering experience.
Understanding of ITIL concepts and security implications for network solutions.
Knowledge of network concepts, technologies, tools, and the ability to design an organization's network infrastructure and services.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Survey reports and measurements to senior personnel in actionable form.
Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
Design network designs and prepare design documents for small projects and larger programs.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems; support 24/7 on-call schedule.
Prepare test plans, test reports, and commissioning procedures; lead testing activities.
Document procedures and contribute to QA/QC and technical reviews.
