Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Architect to design and implement secure network architectures across on-prem and cloud environments. You will work closely with engineering through build and cutover, ensuring architecture aligns with security policies and compliance requirements.

The role requires hands-on expertise in firewall, segmentation, Zero Trust, and cloud networking in Azure, with a focus on DevSecOps and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in an Information Security Architect role.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Advanced knowledge of network and security technologies; cloud experience.
• CISSP or GIAC certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and build network security architecture from ground up, including firewall policy and cloud network design.
• Lead end-to-end migrations: assess, target state, configure, and cutover.
• Collaborate with engineering through build and implementation, closing gaps between architecture and execution.
• Review and remediate gaps in legacy configurations and technical debt.
• Document architecture with configuration details and diagrams.
