Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an IT Network Operations professional to provide day-to-day support for country-level IT systems with a strong focus on network management in a Cisco CLI environment. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience in a Microsoft Windows/Cisco networking environment.
• CCNA certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of IT operations and network infrastructure.
• Clear and inclusive communication skills with technical and non-technical partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
• Experience collaborating across teams to achieve shared operational goals.
• Comfortable with service management tools, ticketing systems, monitoring platforms, and documentation.
• Proactive, customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for country-level IT systems with a focus on network management in a Cisco CLI environment.
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents to ensure stable IT operations.
• Configure and coordinate installation or replacement of network infrastructure at remote locations; occasional travel within the DFW area.
• Participate in IT and business projects; occasional travel to remote sites within the USA and Canada.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify and address operational needs.
• Support rollout and adoption of IT standards, processes, and tools across locations.
• Track service performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with change, incident, and problem management activities.
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to support network and new-site deployments; resolve issues as they arise.
• Document procedures, solutions, and operational best practices.
