General Summary:
Velocity is seeking a VoIP Engineer with a strong background in analog voice and Voice-over-IP to join our Network Operations team. The ideal candidate will assist Velocity in delivering a superior customer experience. This position reports to the Manager of Network Operations and does not have any direct reports. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing and operating Velocity’s VoIP and telephony services.
Velocity, A Managed Solutions Company, operates many diverse and vendor agnostic platforms nationally. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for quickly understanding and operating on these platforms, using existing documentation and independent discovery of the environments, as needed.
