Job summary

Nationwide's Scottsdale site is seeking a Network Engineer to install, refresh, break/fix, and cabling of network systems, ensuring performance and reliability. The role requires on-site support, monitoring network health, triaging incidents, and after-hours provisioning as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in IT operations or network support, strong networking knowledge, ability to work independently, and good communication.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of IT Operations and/or Network Support experience.
• Proven experience in network engineering and support.
• Demonstrable network administration experience.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with high impact.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical capability to lift and install network equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for all network-related activities, including installations, refreshes, break/fix, and cabling.
• Act as steward of Network MDF and IDF, ensuring closets are within cabling standards and well-documented.
• Serve as point of contact for network carrier activities and coordinate with third-party providers.
• Collaborate with CRE/NRI and Protective Services for technology-related needs at Scottsdale.
• Triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of network incidents and events; maintain network health.
• Perform provisioning and break/fix activities outside regular hours, including weekends.
