Job summary

Q2 is seeking a Network Engineer to own and optimize the Meraki-based network environment, circuits, and wireless access across corporate locations in the United States. You will manage NAC, 802.1X, and vendor relations while driving incident resolution with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong Cisco Meraki administration experience, circuit management, and the ability to document standards and coordinate cross-functional work. A flexible hybrid schedule is offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networking, including MX security appliances, MS switches, and MR access points; proficiency with Meraki Dashboard administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Meraki dashboard including switches, access points, and security appliances across corporate locations.
• Maintain configuration standards, firmware management practices, and monitoring and alerting policies.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide support for network changes and maintenance activities.
• Manage and enforce Meraki administrative access model and document changes to the environment.
• Coordinate with ISPs and circuit vendors for installs, renewals, outages, and service reviews.
• Own wired and wireless 802.1X configuration, support, and ongoing policy management.
• Document 802.1X operational procedures, DR testing procedures, and ThousandEyes support ownership.
