Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Principal IT Engineer – Networking to design, implement, and operate enterprise network solutions with a focus on Cisco and Meraki technologies. You will lead incident response, partner with security and infrastructure teams, and drive standardization and automation across campus and branch networks.

The role is hybrid with on-site presence in Somerset, NJ or Austin, TX, and requires coordinating with global teams for reliable, scalable network services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience with 10+ years in enterprise networking.
• Experience designing, implementing, and operating Cisco/Meraki wired and wireless environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure for campus and branch connectivity.
• Lead incident triage, escalation, and resolution for network events; perform root-cause analysis.
