Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team in Indiana/South Bend. You will help scale and support enterprise networks, and assist in automating and deploying scalable networking solutions across data centers.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners, troubleshoot complex networking issues, and contribute to best practices for deployment and maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools and protocols (HTTP(S), DNS, TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

• Manage work and priorities via ticketing system to fulfill requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues including patch panels and cords.
• Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensure hardware racking/stacking.
• Participate in migration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
