Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our Infrastructure Operations team in Dublin, OH. You will support large-scale networks, assist in automation efforts, and help scale data center capacity with a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You’ll work with network engineers and project managers to ensure stable operations and implement best practices across facilities. The role requires physical lifting and travel within the regional area as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• 1+ year of Linux operating system experience.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues (patch panels and cords).
• Specify power and cooling requirements and ensure hardware racking/stacking is completed.
• Participate in migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
