Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to support the scale and reliability of AWS data center networks. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with limited supervision, driving stability and automation of next-generation networks.

Travel within and outside regional work areas is required, with a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license. The role involves 24/7 operations readiness and after-hours support as needed, and you will engage with internal

Qualifications

2+ years of computer networking experience.
Experience working with Linux operating systems.
Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
