Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing infrastructure operations team. You will support large-scale enterprise networks, assist in capacity planning, and help implement automation to scale our global network.

In this role you will work with minimal supervision, coordinate with internal customers and vendors, and help drive the stability and efficiency of AWS data centers, while following best practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
