Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s leading cloud platform, providing scalable services and infrastructure to customers globally. As part of the Backbone Enterprise and Regional Engineering teams, you will design and deliver software that improves performance, security, and cost across a vast network.

You will work in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment with on‑call rotations and mentorship to grow technical and leadership skills for future roles at AWS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large scale systems.
• 1+ year of software development experience.
• 1+ year of OO design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Math or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
• Write high quality distributed system software.
• Work in an agile, startup‑like development environment with prioritised tasks.
• Collaborate with Network/Systems/Software Engineering teams to roll out designs and support deployment.
