Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Development Engineer to design, deploy, and operate network infrastructure powering AWS services globally.

You will work with engineers to solve complex networking challenges at scale, automate processes, and improve reliability and performance. You will join a diverse team across software, hardware, and network disciplines, contributing to automation, data structures, and software features while delivering safe, secure, and scalable connectivity

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience
• 2+ years design or architecture experience for large systems
• 1+ year of software development engineer or related experience
• 1+ year designing and developing large-scale distributed or multi-threaded software applications
• 1+ year of OO design experience
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field
• Experience programming in at least one language

Responsibilities

• Develop software systems to automate large-scale datacenter networks
• Contribute to data path optimization, algorithms, and software features
• Follow full SDLC practices including reviews, source control, builds, and testing
• Collaborate with multiple teams to gather requirements and design solutions
