Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Network Development Engineer to design, deploy and operate large-scale internal networks powering AWS services globally.

You’ll automate processes, solve complex networking challenges, and work with a diverse team across AWS to deliver high reliability at scale. Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years of SDE or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop software systems and deliver them to customers, automating operational overhead and data-center deployment.
• Leverage data path optimization, data structures, and algorithms to implement features.
• Follow full software development lifecycle best practices including coding standards and reviews.
• Communicate requirements and technical designs with other teams and management.
