Job summary
Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr products and infrastructure, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and supporting customers and internal teams in diagnosing and resolving platform-related problems.

Qualifications
- 3+ years in enterprise technical support or similar role.
- Strong experience with Linux systems and advanced CLI usage.
- Experience with enterprise networking concepts for troubleshooting platform-level issues.
- Experience supporting enterprise environments in cloud/IaaS setups.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in English; GPU service delivery knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products and services, including escalated issues.
- Act as first responder to platform alerts, assess impact, troubleshoot, and escalate when needed.
- Lead incident analysis, root cause investigations, and preventive recommendations.
- Coordinate with system administration, engineering, and networking teams to resolve outages.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Support enterprise customer environments and diagnose performance, availability, and configuration issues.
- Serve as SME for diagnostic standards and best practices in the support function.
- Participate in a 24/7 team-based operations environment with shift coverage.
