Job summary

Jackson James is seeking a technically strong Solutions Consultant / Solutions Architect to work directly with the VP of Business Development, taking ownership of the technical side of the sales process and turning complex requirements into compelling solutions.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead technical discovery, design demonstrations, and craft proposals that translate technology into measurable business value for senior stakeholders.

• Strong experience in a technical pre-sales or solutions-focused position.
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working directly with customers.
• A consultative approach to sales and solution design.
• A genuine interest in AI, automation and emerging technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions based on customer requirements and business challenges.
• Partner directly with the VP of Business Development throughout the sales cycle.
• Own the technical side of discovery, solution design, demonstrations and presentations.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear commercial value for senior stakeholders.
• Act as the technical subject-matter expert across customer conversations.
• Develop compelling solution proposals and technical approaches.
• Work closely with prospects to understand their current processes, identify opportunities and design the right solution.
• Help drive the adoption of automation, AI and emerging technologies within customer solutions.
• Become a key strategic voice within the business as the solutions function develops.
