Job summary

RSM US LLP in Iowa City seeks a Senior Associate in Program and Project Management to lead NetSuite implementation projects, coordinating with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver on time and on budget.

You will develop project plans, manage scope and risks, mentor team members, and contribute to business development while embracing a collaborative, inclusive environment; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience focused on project management, ERP implementations, technology implementations, and/or business process improvement.
• Experience working for a consulting or professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality delivery of NetSuite implementation projects within expected timeframes and budgets.
• Manage small to medium engagements valued at $100K-$750K, including project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, RAID logs, and other project management documentation.
• Coordinate activities across NetSuite functional and technical workstreams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure clients and internal stakeholders are kept informed of progress and expected outcomes.
• Partner with engagement leaders and client stakeholders to manage scope, milestones, priorities, and expectations.
• Identify and resolve project issues and serve as an escalation point when necessary.
• Proactively identify scope changes, project risks, resource constraints, and timeline impacts and work with stakeholders to develop appropriate mitigation plans.
• Lead project meetings and clearly communicate status, decisions, risks, action items, and next steps.
• Effectively direct and motivate project teams while fostering positive working relationships with client and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with engagement teams and deliver high-quality client service.
• Support testing, go-live readiness, deployment, and post-implementation activities to help ensure successful NetSuite implementations.
• Assist clients and engagement teams in identifying additional areas of opportunity and support the business development process.
• Provide mentoring and constructive on-the-job coaching to project team members while fostering an innovative and inclusive team environment
