Position: Relay Technician

The Relay Technician will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of protective relays and associated equipment. They will work with engineers and technicians to ensure system reliability and safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, test, maintain, and repair protective relays and associated equipment.
2. Perform relay calibration and testing using specialized equipment.
3. Assist with designing and implementing protective relay schemes.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with relays and related equipment.
5. Perform routine maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
6. Document work and maintain accurate records.
7. Provide technical support to other departments as needed.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in relay testing and maintenance.
• Knowledge of relay principles and applications.
• Experience with relay testing equipment and software.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
