Responsibilities

1. Provide industry-best customer service, always exceeding customer expectations.
2. Assume emergency on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
3. Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies outlined in the company safety manual and customer safety guidelines.
4. Inspect, test, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain low, medium, and high voltage electrical system equipment.
5. Set up and perform electrical tests on transformers, MV and HV conductors, circuit breakers, automatic transfer switches, switchgear, and relays.
6. Properly check in and out test equipment, reporting any damages or unusable items.
7. Handle company assets responsibly.
8. Prepare and submit daily reports and administrative paperwork timely.
9. Engage in continuous learning and complete all required training.
10. Work flexible hours, including overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays, and night shifts as needed.
11. Drive locally and regionally, with periodic overnight travel.
12. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required, along with strong communication skills.

Minimum Requirements

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Pass pre-employment drug, background, and reference checks.
3. Valid driver’s license with a good record.
4. Eligibility to work in the US without a visa.
5. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 75 pounds, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
6. Comfort with wearing personal protective equipment and working at heights.
7. Two-year vocational or post-high school program in electrical trades or industrial electricity, or an associate degree in technology, or relevant military experience.
8. Experience with medium voltage splicing, switchgear, transformers, and reading electrical diagrams.
9. Proficiency with computer skills and Microsoft Office.
10. Certifications such as NETA, OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70-E, and a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are preferred.
