Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to act as project lead on electrical inspection and testing tasks. You will perform measurements, data collection, and report writing while setting up test equipment and ensuring safety and quality on energized environments when required.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the field, NETA 3 preferred, and a strong background in electrical theory, MS Office, and customer service. Will travel up to 50% and join a team committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 3 preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Moderate to advanced electrical measurements.
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring successful execution.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings.
• Assist in setting up and removing test equipment for testing activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and storage of test equipment and tools.
• Mentor project co-lead technicians and field technicians as needed.
• Adapt to evolving business needs and support organizational goals.
