Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to lead project work, perform complex electrical measurements, and manage field tests for de-energized equipment. You will set up/test gear, collect data, and supervise technicians while delivering accurate reports and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, OSHA/MSHA/NFPA70-E training is a plus, and up to 50% travel with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of field service experience.
• OSHA 10/30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to advanced electrical measurements and data collection.
• Lead and manage projects from start to finish; supervise technicians.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings and ensure timely submission.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools.
• Support safety, testing, and troubleshooting across de-energized equipment.
