Job summary

PowerX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to lead projects, perform electrical tests and measurements on de-energized equipment, and supervise field technicians. The role emphasizes data collection, report writing, safety, and equipment setup/removal in a dynamic field service environment.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience, OSHA MSHA NFPA 70-E CPR/First Aid training, and a solid understanding of electrical theory, with strong customer service and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.
• Must pass background/MVR check.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to advanced electrical measurements.
• Collect and record data accurately.
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
• Supervise and mentor project co-lead technicians and field technicians.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain equipment and work areas.
