Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 4) to supervise projects, perform complex electrical tests and measurements, and coordinate with engineers and managers. The role requires setting up test equipment, following safety procedures, and producing detailed reports.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical theory, 10+ years of experience, and a willingness to travel up to 50%. PowerDB training and OSHA/HAZMAT awareness are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year technical college preferred.
• NETA certification level 4 preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical tests and measurements.
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
• Write and review detailed test reports and findings.
• Provide troubleshooting and corrective action recommendations.
• Ensure safety and compliance with energy procedures.
