POWERX in Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to serve as project lead technician on electrical testing and commissioning tasks. You will perform moderately complex measurements, data collection, and safety-critical work on de-energized equipment, set up and remove test gear, and contribute to accurate reporting.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a solid understanding of electrical theory, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree from a 2-year technical college preferred.
• NETA Level 3 certification preferred.
• 5+ years of field service experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to advanced electrical measurements.
• Lead project execution and supervise field technicians.
• Write detailed test reports and findings.
• Set up and remove test equipment; ensure proper handling.
• Maintain safety and compliance on site.
• Coordinate with operations and other skills.
