Job summary

POWERX in Virginia is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection. You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct basic acceptance tests, and report findings with attention to safety procedures and quality data capture.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years’ experience, NETA level 2 preferred, OSHA 30, and ability to travel up to 50%. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 2 preferred.
• 2+ years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance and Maintenance Electrical Testing under limited supervision.
• Test equipment setup/removal for various testing activities.
• Write detailed test reports and findings.
• Travel up to 50% of the time; maintain safe work practices.
