Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an Environmental Senior Manager to develop strategies for climate, biodiversity, and product sustainability across Pfizer's manufacturing network. You will lead cross-functional programs, drive net zero actions with suppliers, and guide governance and reporting on sustainability performance.

The role requires leading large teams with minimal supervision, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate technical content for executives across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years or Master's with 5+ years or PhD with 1+ year experience.
• Experience developing corporate sustainability programs in a large, matrixed org.
• Technical knowledge across climate/GHG accounting, Scope 3, nature/biodiversity, and product sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies and programs, including Scope 3 emissions reduction and sustainable sourcing.
• Manage Pfizer's Scope 3 program with cross-functional workstreams and Net Zero Core Team sponsorship.
• Partner with External Supply and Procurement to drive net zero for suppliers including CMOs.
• Develop and communicate sustainability performance metrics to support decision-making and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional teams to advance sustainability objectives and integrate environmental considerations into sourcing.
• Monitor frameworks and industry trends, assess business impacts, and develop response and compliance plans.
