Biogen seeks an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for Nephrology to act as the primary commercial liaison to KMEs, transplant centers, and nephrology stakeholders across the assigned geography. This field-based role supports advocacy, account readiness, and marketplace insights, collaborating with marketing, medical affairs, market access, and sales leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of marketing, field sales, field marketing or Thought Leader Liaison experience.
• Rare Disease and/or nephrology field-based experience required.
• Strong collaboration and influence across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional listening, insight-generation, and analytical skills; translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Willingness to travel up to 60-70%.

Responsibilities

• Account Development & Readiness: create regional plans with cross‑functional partners.
• KME Engagement & Advocacy: identify and engage KMEs; manage engagement activities.
• Strategic Insight Generation: translate stakeholder feedback into strategic recommendations.
• Congress, Speaker Bureau & External Engagement: support congress planning and speaker programs.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership: partner with marketing, medical, sales, and compliance to ensure alignment.
