Job summary

Biogen is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for Nephrology. This field-based role hinges on developing external advocacy, shaping account readiness, and generating market insights with KMEs and transplant centers across the geography.

You will partner with marketing, medical affairs, market access and sales to inform strategy, launch readiness and customer engagement while ensuring compliant programs and strong stakeholder relationships. Travel up to 60–70% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors level degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in marketing, field sales/marketing or Thought Leader Liaison roles.
• Rare Disease and/or nephrology field experience required.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence across stakeholders.
• Excellent listening, insight-generation and analytical skills.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial and travel up to 60-70%.

Responsibilities

• Account Development & Readiness and regional plan creation with cross-functional partners.
• Gather insights to inform marketing strategy and current/future disease states.
• Communicate stakeholder insights to internal teams for adoption planning.
• Support KME engagement activities including advisory boards and events.
• Coordinate congress planning and post-meeting insights with leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing, medical, sales and legal/compliance for compliant engagement.
