Job summary

Biogen seeks an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for Nephrology to act as the primary commercial liaison to KMEs, transplant centers, and nephrology stakeholders across the geography. This field-based role shapes advocacy, readiness, and market insights, partnering with marketing, medical affairs, market access and sales leadership.

The role emphasizes strategic influence, cross-functional collaboration, and compliant engagement to inform portfolio planning and launch readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years in marketing, field sales, or Thought Leader Liaison roles; field marketing/ TLL experience preferred.
• Rare Disease and/or nephrology field-based experience required.
• Strong strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop account readiness and regional commercial plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Gather insights to inform marketing strategy and commercial content for current and future disease states.
• Engage KMEs and stakeholders to support advisory boards, peer-to-peer programs, and educational initiatives.
• Translate stakeholder feedback into recommendations for strategy, launch planning, and engagement.
