Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution; 2+ years of experience.
• If hired without a BSN/MSN, must enroll in BSN/MSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Preferred BSN from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA; active Ohio RN License; may require other state licensure.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated.

Responsibilities

• Compliance - Patient Services: sustain regulatory compliance; safety and departmental policies.
• Ensure all certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled on time.
• Share safety best practices with department managers, nurse council and magnet representatives.
• Monitor CMS standards and communicate safety concerns to leadership.
• Interprofessional Practice: integrate IPM in practice; conduct clinical inquiry & performance review.
• Use nursing process to plan, deliver, and document care; ensure patient and family outcomes are met.
• Facilitate learning and peer/student education; support shared governance and collaboration.
• Maintain cultural inclusivity and ethical practice in patient care.
