Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Registered Nurse to support patient services with a strong focus on compliance and safety standards. The role requires an active Ohio RN license and 2+ years of experience, with BSN preferred.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate, culturally inclusive care. The position is full-time, regular status, with a 2-3 shift pattern and 36 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited program with 2+ years of experience.
• Preferred: BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited program or MSN.
• Active Ohio RN License; may require other state licensure.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMerit per Ohio Board of Nursing code.

Responsibilities

• Compliance - Patient Services Staff - Sustain understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled.
• Uses systems thinking - Support care coordination and monitor safety and departmental policies.
• Clinical judgment when performing caring practices - Document care and follow protocols to ensure safety.
• Clinical inquiry & performance review to improve practice - Engage in standards, coaching, and ongoing learning.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team in shared decision making at the point of care.
• Interprofessional Practice - Integrate IPM in all aspects of practice.
• Advocacy and cultural inclusion - Act in patient/family interests and consider cultural factors.
• Patient Care - Age Specific and Culturally Inclusive - Tailor care to age and development.

Education

Associate/Diploma RN (ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA) with 2+ years experience
