Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse with pediatric experience to support patient and family care in a busy clinic setting. You will provide family-centered nursing care, assess needs, and implement and evaluate care using evidence-based practices.

Ohio RN licensure is required, with a BSN preferred and completion of BSN within 5 years. Three years of pediatric clinical experience is preferred. Flexible evening shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred; must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio is required.
• Three years of pediatric clinical experience or an equivalent education/experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses patient needs, plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy requirements.
• Collaborates with providers and team members to ensure smooth clinic flow and positive patient/family outcomes.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Engages in Quality Improvement, data collection and reporting at relevant staff meetings.
